Dr Allan Tee

Born in Malaysia and resited in New Zealand at a young age, Allan graduated from Otago Medical School with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) in 1997. Having been awarded both Fellowships in the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP) and Royal NZ College of Urgent Care (FRNZCUC), Allan is a Specialist GP and Urgent Care physician. He began his medical career as a GP in 2001 and has established himself as the clinical director of The Doctors Ti Rakau and managing director of The Doctors Middlemore.

Over the years, Allan has developed a strong passion for minor skin surgery and cosmetic medicine. He has completed the advanced training in minor surgical skills in 2007 and has more than 20 years of experience in performing minor surgical procedures in his GP clinics. Following the completion of an extensive two year diploma in cosmetic medicine (the only qualification in cosmetic medicine recognised by Medical Council of NZ), Allan is an accredited cosmetic doctor and is a member of NZ Society of Cosmetic Medicine (NZSCM). Allan is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer for the Auckland University’s school of medicine inspiring and mentoring young doctors.

With his clinical background as a GP and Urgent Care physician, Allan understands the importance of holistic and safe approach in providing cosmetic procedures to his patients. He is committed to offer the latest, evidence based and safest techniques to his patients so they can look their best with natural looking results.

Due to his ethnic background and upbringing, Allan is multilingual and speaks English, Mandarin, and several Chinese dialects including Cantonese, Hokkien and Hakka.
